The Series 5 fine control valves meter even very small flow rates with high precision. Worthy of special mention is their exact, linear flow rate characteristic. Different spindle types exactly matched to the medium and the flow range make various applications possible. Additional safety and reliability are achieved by the spindle thread outside the media flow. The fine control valve is available in the materials PP, PVDF and PTFE and is suitable for use with aggressive media. Various types are available: the manually operated Series 5A fine control valve is available with and without an adjustment scale. At constant pressure and/or constant density, the adjustment scale provides exact and reproducible adjustment of liquid and gaseous flow rates. The Series 5E fine control valves with electrical actuator are even more variable. The drive can be opened or closed, stopped in any position in between and then opened or closed – precisely and reproducibly for the specific application.
