The connection principle used in Series 3L entails using a Luer-Lock connection according to DIN 13090 (male or female) on the one hand and a flexible tube connection, a rigid tube connection or a G- or UNF male thread on the other hand. A flexible tube can thus be connected, e.g., to the most commonly used disposable laboratory filters.
