- Electrically cunductive: Surface resistance to <10³Ω, <10²Ω => reliable protection against electrostatic charge
- PVDF-conductive => block all UV light, impervious to UV light
- PP-conductive => block all UV light
- High media resistance
In applications ranging from chemical containers, apparatus manufacture to the electrical industry, utmost safety is required when aggressive media are handled in potentially explosive environments. For this reason, all of our connectors Series 1 to 3 – previously offered in PP and PVDF materials – are available in PP-conductive and PVDF-conductive as well. To prevent electrostatic charge from building up, the highperformance PVDF-conductive material is equipped with electrically conducting particles and has a very low surface resistance of less than 10³ Ω. The polypropylene homopolymer PPconductive also contains electrically conductive particles that dissipate the electrostatic charge and reduce the surface resistance of the material to less than 10² Ω. For media that are sensitive to UV radiation, the materials are dyed solid black to block all UV light. PVDF-conductive is also impervious to UV light. Available in these materials, our Series 1, 2 and 3 connectors ensure maximum safety and have impressive chemical resistance properties.
