The connection principle used in Series 1D entails using heat to enlarge the flexible tube before pushing it onto an integrated connecting sleeve. The tube is secured in place by means of a knurled nut acting on the flexible tube. What makes this connection principle special is the elimination of dead volume. The flexible tube and the connecting sleeve produce a form-locked connection, resulting in a connection with no dead volume. The connection principle 1D is available in HP quality. We achieve this quality in a 5-step process:

• Cleaning in an ultrasonic bath, with oil separator
• Cleaning in a DI bath (distilled, deionised)
• Re-cleaning in a DI bath (18.5M＆#8486;) in a clean-room under ISO class 5 clean-room conditions
• Drying the components in a vacuum under ISO class 5 clean-room conditions
• Assembly, final inspection and packaging of the parts in a clean-room. We use two bags for packaging which are filled with class 5.0 nitrogen and welded.

Our connectors are manufactured without seams, likewise in HP quality, to guarantee a very high level of tightness. Our connectors are compatible with other commercially available flexible hose connection systems.
