Scotch Yoke
Scotch Yoke Actuators (NWS) from 200 Nm to 600,000 Nm
niwatec Scotch yoke actuators are based on the Scotch yoke mechanism and allow:
actuating valves and fittings with a control angle of 90°
end-position adjustment ± 5° as a standard feature
Owing to an innovative modular design, the following combinations of functions are feasible:
double-acting actuators, equipped with two separate, independently working cylinders
single-acting actuators (spring open or spring close)
Because of the development of a unique rail mechanism and of specifically coated guideways, niwatec GmbH has been able to optimise the actuator efficiency.
Further benefits of the niwatec Scotch yoke actuators:
welded casing particularly suitable for low temperature applications
compatible to all commercially obtainable ball valve adaptations
end-position signalisation by means of various limit-switch boxes mounted on top of the actuator
modular design of the control unit allows integrating a large variety of control functions
