Winkler Heated Lines
are used in analytical equipment installed to monitor air pollutants and for process analysis in industrial facilities. The range of application also comprises engine test benches for the development of combustion engines as well as mandatory emission tests and vehicle certification. These heated lines enable the transport of gas samples from the sampling point to the gas treatment system and analyser without falsification of measuring &#118alues. They offer reliable service 24/7 over many years, even under tough conditions. The accuracy and repeatability of sensors and instruments in analytical equipment crucially depends on the treatment of the sampling gas and thus on the correct heating of the measuring gas conduits in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Therefore, the heating within an analysis system is an important component of the entire measuring unit. With support of the specialists from Winkler, you can easily find the perfect solution for your particular requirements.

Basic hoses, Accessories and Replacements

Available basic hoses and fittings for heated lines of the types listed. Depending on design, basic hoses with PTFE hose can be employed for fluid temperatures up to 250°C. Heated lines with stainless steel pipes and corrugated stainless steel hoses are designed for fluid temperatures up to 400°C, depending on the type of insulation. Higher temperatures and special solutions upon enquiry.
Connection system "Quick-Lock"

Application
For quick assembly of heated lines. Used at dynamometer and engine test beds for carriage of measuring gas into the analyzing room safe and conforming to standards.
Features and benefits
- Rugged structure made of high quality materials. The system is designed for sustained operating temperatures of up to 200°C.
- Seamless (conforming to standards) heating without cold spots between the wall bushing and the heated line and the heated line coupling.
- quick and easy assembly of the heated line
- interconnectivity, gas proofhness, no cold spots
- system also available with rope for fixing
- nominal diameter DN4 and DN6
Spiral Hose Guards

are used for the protection and bundling of hydraulic and pneumatic hoses, electric cables etc. They are also useful to reduce the contact temperature of heated lines and heated hoses in applications with high temperatures. A spiral hose guard increases the security and durability of hoses, lines and cables.
Features and benefits
- Spiral with section in hemi-circle made of extruded polypropylene (PP) with rounded edges.
- The special geometry adapts perfectly on the hose without restricting its movement. High resistance to mechanical strain trough chocks, frictions, cutting edges etc.
- Very high lifespan. Recyclable. Conform to ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
- Resistant to frost and heat. Operating temperature from –40°C to +120°C. High chemical resistance.
- Spiral hose guards can be cut to length with scissors or pincers. Easy installation due to the high flexibility.
- Standard colour black. Other colours upon request. Delivery in coils of 20 - 50 m / box or in pieces cut to length upon request.
