Milk of lime control valves

For abrasive mediums like milk of lime, a special control valve made of 1.4571 with CrN-coated trim set in ND 25-80 has been developed. The main application for these valves is water conditioning, e.g. in the paper industry or in power stations.  

The advantages are also an exchangeable trim set and selectable regulating characteristics (linear or equal percentage). The valve body has been designed specially for this application. The medium flows against the plug, so that the valve will be washed-up inevitably. Due to this fact, a sedimentation of the medium within the valve will be avoided or reduced.
